Please allow 1-3 workday's processing time, and at least 2-10 days for delivery after the product has been shipped. Can I install this myself? Yes, you can install Lamin-x yourself. These applications are normally low difficulty installations. What is your warranty? We have a Five-Year Warranty on our products. If you want more information please visit our warranty page .

What do I do if I find fogginess, air or water bubbles, surface texture, or scratches after my Lamin-x installation? Once the film fully cures, most imperfections will disappear completely. After time, small scratches, trapped moisture, and most bubbles will dissipate on their own. However, if you encounter a stubborn bubble, you can poke it with a sewing needle and push out the air or water. The hole will eventually close on its own.

How do I remove the film from my lights? To remove the film, we recommend warming it with a heat gun, hair dryer, or simply by parking the car in the sunlight on a warm day. While the film is warm, slowly peel the film from the lens surface. Any adhesive that may be left on the lens can be removed with a cleaner that is safe for use on your vehicle's exterior.

Are these films legal in my state? Our colored films may not be legal for street use on a vehicle's primary lighting, and, as such, are sold with an off-road use disclosure. Please check your state or local laws before installation. Application of colored Lamin-x film on your primary lights is done so at your own risk.

    Installation

Difficulty Level:5/5 We recommend using a universal sheet to do this installation. Universal sheets are easier to line up and make the installation process easier for difficult lights. Click here to get the universal sheet for your lights - Universal Sheet

If you do decide to use our precut kit, it requires some experience with installing automotive films. If you are not comfortable installing this, talk to your local Lamin-x installer. Watch our installation video for more info:

2018 F150 headlight kit with tent

2018 F150: I was very nervous when I ordered the kit for headlights. Most web sites did not list a kit for 2018 F150.The 2018 headlights have a raised center piece. The kit came with a center section that had cutouts that worked great. Real pleased with the results. I have a 2017 Explorer and that kit was much easier to install. It took about a week for all the water (bubble)spots to disappear on the F150.

Close but not perfect

The precut item doesn’t fit the headlight perfectly and leaves gaps or wrinkles when trying to close the gaps. Besides that it’s good material and easy to install.

2020 F-150 Precut headlight film

Not pleased at all with the precut film. Due to the F-150 having a raised section of the headlight makes it impossible to get the film to lineup correctly. Went to the website for a help video and nothing exist for the 2018-2020 Ford F-150 headlights. When you click on installation they recommend you use a rolled sheet instead of the precut because the difficulty level is a 5 out 5. It would have been nice for someone to say that in the description of the precut before I purchased it, $75.00 wasted.
