Please allow 1-3 workday's processing time, and at least 2-10 days for delivery after the product has been shipped. Can I install this myself? Yes, you can install Lamin-x yourself. These applications are normally low difficulty installations. A few applications with a 3, 4, or 5 level difficulty will require some acquired knowledge and mechanical ability in which we cannot be held accountable. Therefore installations are done at your risk. We provide you with installation instructions, tools, and website videos. What is your warranty? We have a Five-Year Warranty on our products. If you want more information please visit our warranty page .

What do I do if I find fogginess, air or water bubbles, surface texture, or scratches after my Lamin-x installation? Once the film fully cures, most imperfections will disappear completely. After time, small scratches, trapped moisture, and most bubbles will dissipate on their own. However, if you encounter a stubborn bubble, you can poke it with a sewing needle and push out the air or water. The hole will eventually close on its own.

How do I remove the film from my lights? To remove the film, we recommend warming it with a heat gun, hair dryer, or simply by parking the car in the sunlight on a warm day. While the film is warm, slowly peel the film from the lens surface. Any adhesive that may be left on the lens can be removed with a cleaner that is safe for use on your vehicle's exterior.

Are these films legal in my state? Our colored films may not be legal for street use on a vehicle's primary lighting, and, as such, are sold with an off-road use disclosure. Please check your state or local laws before installation. Application of colored Lamin-x film on your primary lights is done so at your own risk.

    Installation

Difficulty Level:3/5 Installations with this level difficulty need a little time a patience when installing. Extra care is required to help with alignment and getting the film to lay down.

Looks great

2007 Subaru Sti. Bought these from premium auto styling and they were horrible. So spent the extra money and bought the lamin-x ones. These are awesome they have a shine finish to the tint so they look oem!! 100% would buy again and recommend to everyone! Only thing I would change is I wish they were a little bigger cut. They are short at the top but not too noticeable.

Looks Good

I installed these on my STi and they look good. Take your time and be patient when installing because the Impreza headlights are trickey, expect an hour per headlight. Only downside is that on a back road at the night you can’t see anything without the high beams on. On a separate note one them was pealed off in an act of vandalism. Lamin-X tried to be helpful and recommended I use 3M Adhesive Remover to remove the adhesive. DO NOT use 3M Adhesive Remover (or anything with acetone) if you have plastic headlights, it will ruin your headlight and will need to be sanded down.

Good overall

2006 Subaru STI WRB. Easy to install, all bubbles and water drops easily removed with squeegee. Looks better the next day as the adhesive dries. My only gripe is that the covers were slightly smaller than the headlight and actually had to be stretched. I work with vinyl and tint, and installation was still a little tricky because of the stretching. Product looks great on the car, look the JTC car look.

Lamin-X Headlight Covers 20 mil

These are great for protecting your headlights. I got the thickest ones since I track my STi and high speed rock chips can be brutal. These were a major pain to install and I have a freind that recommended I buy it in large sheets and I guess he was right. The fit was ok and I am still working out the small bubbles (its has been on my car for 4 days now). I would get them again but not the pre-cut

Pretty tough

A bit tougher because the headlights are a bit hemispherical. The directions are quite good. Only use the supplied spray bottle with a very fine mist. The directions state not so soak but don't because the heavier amount of water is more difficult to squeegee out of the cover.
