Can I install this myself? Yes, you can install Lamin-x yourself. These applications are normally low difficulty installations. What is your warranty? We have a Five-Year Warranty on our products. If you want more information please visit our warranty page .

What do I do if I find fogginess, air or water bubbles, surface texture, or scratches after my Lamin-x installation? Once the film fully cures, most imperfections will disappear completely. After time, small scratches, trapped moisture, and most bubbles will dissipate on their own. However, if you encounter a stubborn bubble, you can poke it with a sewing needle and push out the air or water. The hole will eventually close on its own.

How do I remove the film from my lights? To remove the film, we recommend warming it with a heat gun, hair dryer, or simply by parking the car in the sunlight on a warm day. While the film is warm, slowly peel the film from the lens surface. Any adhesive that may be left on the lens can be removed with a cleaner that is safe for use on your vehicle's exterior.

Are these films legal in my state? Our colored films may not be legal for street use on a vehicle's primary lighting, and, as such, are sold with an off-road use disclosure. Please check your state or local laws before installation. Application of colored Lamin-x film on your primary lights is done so at your own risk.

    Installation

Great product again but have a pro install it

I love the yellow tints and got a new car so installed these on it they also cover up the slight fading and oxidation making them look clear again. This Is my second time installing these films and I must say the design on the 4th gen 4 runners headlights makes these very difficult to install... if you have no clue what youre doing and this is your first time just have a pro do it it's not worth trying. mine turned out decent could be better but I'm happy with it. These sheets are also cut pretty much exact to the headlight so you have to line it up almost perfect. if I had to do it over I'd get the universal sheets for just a bit more coverage and ease of install. no fault of the product laminx makes great stuff and I'm sure these will hold up just as good as my last vehicle.

2008 Toyota 4Runner I am really enjoying the way my tint headlight covers look on my SUV. I will definitely be purchasing more off this website in the future

Leave it to professionals

I just spent about an hour on one headlight and ended up trashing the whole kit. This is next to impossible to install unless you're a professional wrap installer. I've had other laminx kits that were fine, but I can't recommend this one. Just get someone who installs this professionally to do it.

Lamin-X film

2007 Toyota 4Runner limited. When viewing the difficulty level please note that a level 3 means you must be a professional who installs these on a daily basis. It is almost impossible (for myself it was) to install the film without leaving a small area uncovered which light projects through. The film is cut to the exact size, so I am told which leaves no room for error. Working the film on a contoured surface while making it appear cosmetically acceptable is a task that should be left to someone other than a do it yourselfer. I am the only individual that touches my 3 automobiles and after several aggravating days I have given up. $60 wasted and nothing to show for it other than defeat
